| Take the R27 from Cape Town and after 120 kms cross the Berg River into Velddrif. Three kms from the Berg River Bridge, in Velddrif, on the Voortrekker road towards Piketberg. Turn right into Turksvy Laan and left into Waterkant Street, 2nd house on the left. Alternatively, take the N7 out of Cape Town and just after Malmesbury, take the turnoff to Hopefield / Vredenburg (R45). Just before Vredenburg, join the R27 (right) and stop 20 kms later in Velddrif. You may also take the R399 from Piketberg. The Sandvelder is situated at 81 Waterkant Street. | |
